Have to act a certain way
And talk just like them

Can't be myself
Have to fit in
And be like all the cool kids
Got to just be them

But I want to be me
I want to be a dork
A geek, or a genius
I just want to be me

Can't I just be accepted
For who He made me to be?
Can't I just forget
About all of the competition?

God made me who I am today
He blessed me to be goofy
Smart, or maybe a little slow
If He can accept me why can't they?

He blessed me with my hair color
He blessed me to be skinny
Short, or maybe gigantor
But it is He who created me

So I ask you this...
If God who created me
Can accept me for me...
Then why can't you???
